Exploring a Monologue

with Antonia Salib

Whether you are auditioning for drama school or seeking to explore a monologue in a safe environment, this workshop will offer you tools to access character and breathe new life into your speech. We will look at emotional centres and character objectives to make your monologues more embodied and leave you feeling freer and more confident when approaching a speech.

Following the two-hour group workshop, you will be given a 10 minute slot where you can perform a monologue of your choice to Antonia and a Wildcard panel to receive redirection and feedback.

We would recommend that you come prepared with a monologue that you know off by heart to get the most out of the workshop but, if this isn’t possible, please bring along a speech that you are familiar with.

This will be an open and supportive space where playfulness is welcomed!

When: Friday 29th October

Time: 1-5pm

Where: Wildcard Studios, 18 Balderton Street, London, W1K 6TG
