What is a Literary Agent?
with Jennifer Thomas
In this 2 hour workshop you will learn the role of a literary agent and how they differ to acting agents. If you are looking for one at the moment, Jen will discuss with you how to find them, and the best way to approach them. You will learn what to look out for when representing your written work – even if you are representing yourself. This fun filled workshop will leave you with a stronger understanding of what a literary agent is, how to get one or how to best represent yourself, and you’ll also receive a handy list of helpful tips on where to send your work to e.g. competitions and writing schemes.
You will also have your chance to practice introducing yourself and pitching your writing or a particular project to a literary agent.
