The nation’s leading touring theatre companies will present a series of theatrical events at locations across the UK in celebration of our fundamental need to tell stories.
In October and November, fires will light up across the UK with storytellers and audiences sharing in one of the original forms of theatre. The fires will signal the vibrancy of touring theatre, and the threat our industry continues to face.
Wildcard will present a short piece of Gig Theatre, pre recorded for online viewing, that will be available from 26th October for audiences to watch for free from this webpage. The piece highlights the struggles that our industry is facing and stands in defiance as an open message to our Government, demanding that they provide more sector specific support, as well as celebrating the breadth, unity and brilliance of our industry; rejecting that we, as a sector, are unviable.
