To support its productions, WTC is
offering workshops which will share the development process of the productions
and teach creative skills and spontaneity techniques, working with the
themes within each production to develop the participants own ideas.
Led by Wildcard's artistic director, Andrew Potter, this 90 minute workshop is
ideal for performers,
both professional and non-professional, and Theatre Studies students, wishing to
get to grips with
physical theatre skills and learn the techniques that created such memorable productions
as Hiawatha,
Richard III and Iliad.
Wildcard use the process used to create highly sucessful productions such as
Hiawatha,
Gawain and the Green Knight
and Iliad, working with participants to
explore the techniques
for brining to life a piece of poetry or prose.
A two hour workshop in which participants explore the most essential feature of
devising a piece of theatre: the art of storytelling.
A masterclass in Shakespearean villainy with Wildcards artistic Director, Andrew Potter, whose first hand experence with the bards darker creations includes tours as Macbeth, Shylock and Richard III..
