Running a Rehearsal Room with Compassion: A Director’s Process

with Pooja Ghai

Come and join this inspiring and thought provoking workshop with award-winning theatre director, actor, facilitator, activist and mentor Pooja Ghai.

In this session you will be challenged to think about how to keep your integrity and question your ethics as a theatre maker, and how to decolonise structures and practices in our current climate.

How do we take up space with integrity? How do we collaborate and break the hierarchical forms of the society we live in? Pooja will guide you through this 2 hour session on how we create work through a lens of generosity, passion, love and integrity.

This workshop is for actors, directors, facilitators, theatre-makers, anyone who is interested in making a change in society through their art. It will be also be useful for new theatre companies looking at how to have the strength in knowing what you want to make or do with their company, and going forward with conviction and integrity.
